Family court is daunting for anyone. For fathers who are already feeling excluded from their children's lives, walking into a courtroom alone can feel overwhelming. A McKenzie Friend can change that.
What a McKenzie Friend does
A McKenzie Friend is a non-legal supporter who can accompany you to most family court hearings. They can sit beside you, take notes, quietly advise and provide calm support throughout the hearing. They cannot speak on your behalf unless the judge specifically grants permission, but their presence makes an enormous practical and emotional difference.
Why it matters for fathers
Many fathers in family court proceedings feel they are not being heard. Having someone calm and experienced beside you, who knows the process and can help you present your case clearly, makes a significant difference. Courts respond well to fathers who are measured, well-prepared and child-focused. A McKenzie Friend helps you be exactly that.
